Amputee in peak triumph
A MUM whose hands and feet were amputated has climbed 19,341ft Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.
Corinne Hutton, 48, who took five days, is believed to be the first female quadruple amputee to scale the mountain in Tanzania.
The mum of a son of 10, of Lochwinnoch, near Glasgow, lost her limbs to sepsis in 2013.
She said: “The support I’ve received from people all over got me to the top.”
She raised £15,000 for her charity, Finding Your Feet, that helps amputees.
