Axe fears of Adkins in Tigers takeover
NIGEL ADKINS fears his days as Hull boss are numbered – if former chairman Paul Duffen succeeds in his fight to regain control of the Tigers.
Duffen’s Saudi-backed consortium are favourites to see off the challenge of two rival groups and seal a £45million takeover of the East Yorkshire outfit.
And if they win the power battle, Duffen may axe Adkins (above) and reappoint Phil Brown for a second stint as manager. REAL MADRID defender Dani Carvajal wants to play in England. The Spain star (below), 26, said: “I would love to play in the Premier League. It’s an experience I would like to have and I do not want to end up with that thorn.”
