Superfan, 18 jets world to meet celebs

TRIPS Lucy with Ed Sheeran A TEENAGE superfan has forked out £6,000 on travelling the world to meet her favourite celebrities.

Journalism student Lucy Hughes has met celebs including Canadian popstar Shawn Mendes, singer Ed Sheeran, One Direction frontman Harry Styles, chatshow host Ellen DeGeneres, vlogger Joe Sugg, bands McFly and The Vamps and Brooklyn and David Beckham.

The 18-year-old, whose parents help fund her trips, started meeting her heroes when she was 15 and has been to Hollywood, LA, Paris and Bali to see them.

Lucy, from Rochdale, Greater Manchester, said: “I snuck into events I didn’t have tickets for, I made fake wristbands and made up sob stories, as well as crying to security.”
