A MUM bites off her pal’s ear in a kebab shop fight – before staff save the severed part and stick it in the fridge ready to be reattached.

The CCTV footage also shows Victoria Burgess kicking Jenna Edwards as she lies bleeding in agony on the floor.

Jenna is now a “prisoner in her own home” with post-traumatic stress disorder, she told a court.

The pair, who had known each four years, fought after sharing a bottle of wine in a Wetherspoon pub and lager at another bar in the early hours of April 6.

They had decided to get food and walked past a homeless woman as they made their way to a kebab shop, said prosecutors

At one point Jenna picked it up but dropped it in horror. The severed ear was then put in the fridge at the Newport city centre takeaway.

Jenna waited for five hours to be seen and opted to have 48-hour leech therapy to save the rest of her ear. Doctors managed to reattach it, but scarring now prevents Jenna wearing her hair up. The CCTV footage of the fight was described as “utterly sickening” by Judge Daniel Williams. Ms Edwards added that the ordeal has “changed her life completely”, saying: “She was my friend. Now I’ll never trust anyone.” Burgess, who has a two-year-old girl, admitted wounding with intent. The hearing had to be stopped on two occasions as she sobbed in the dock before she was sentenced to four-and-ahalf years in prison. with them.
