goals in their first five Championship games, they have managed just four in their last four matches to lose momentum.

Bielsa spent the international break working on his players’ movement to get in behind opposition defences. “We dedicated a lot of time to the offensive play, we worked a lot on the movements to free ourselves,” he said.

“When we do these movements, we work on the possibilities of receiving the ball behind the opponent.”

Cardiff and Fulham have met in the Premier League twice previously – the Bluebirds won both games against the Cottagers during the 2013-14 season.

Fulham are without a clean sheet in their last 21 matches against Cardiff in all competitions – however, they have not lost any of their previous seven games against the Bluebirds (W3 D4 L0).

Fulham are the only team that Cardiff have beaten more than once in the Premier League (two wins) – in the top-flight, they’ve won four of their six meetings with the Cottagers (P6 W4 D1 L1).

Cardiff are winless in their last 12 Prem games (D3 L9), losing the last five in a row. They last lost six consecutive games in league competition in November 1985.

Fulham have conceded 21 goals in the Prem. The last team to concede more in their first eight games were Southampton in 2012-13 (24). VICTOR CAMARASA will have his dad and brother in the stands today to watch him for the first time since he joined Cardiff.

It definitely won’t be the last prove to be lucky charms.

As police officers in Valencia, it is not easy for dad Antonio and big brother David to get time off work to see Camarasa in action.

But Inspector Antonio’s annual leave this year to celebrate his 63rd birthday coincides with winless Cardiff ’s bottomof-the-table battle with Fulham.

Midfielder Camarasa, 24, said: “It will be really special playing in the Premier League and having my brother and father watching me. I was talking with my father and we were joking that my family is going to bring good luck this weekend and, if we win, I promise I will bring them to all matches.”

With his football ability clear from an if they

early age – he joined Valencia’s youth setup aged just seven – following his dad and older brother into the police “was never an option” for Camarasa.

But there were still lessons for him from their line of work.

He said: “Once when I was younger my father took me to a dangerous neighbourhood where there were drug problems and explained to me what he was expecting from me, how I have to behave in life. He was showing me the right path to follow.

“My parents love football and me being a football player is like a dream come true for them.”

Camarasa left Valencia for Levante at 17 before a £9million move to

Real Betis last summer.
