Star’s cancer smear plea
Remarkable forgiveness of hit & run horror death crash family
TEST Michelle at her smear MICHELLE Keegan urged women to be screened for cervical cancer after admitting she put off having smear tests herself.
The Our Girl star said she had found excuses to ignore letters from her doctor, but told fans the process was not painful.
She said: “A smear test lasts five minutes, but the impact of cervical cancer will last a lifetime.”
The uptake of cervical screenings has plunged to a 20-year low this year. THE family of a dad and his one-year-old son who died with two others in a horror smash have said they do not blame anyone.
The youngest victim of the crash has been named locally as Usman Adnan Jarral.
His dad Adnan Ashraf Jarral, 35, a factory worker, was killed at the scene and mum Tahreem Kroscenova, 32, was seriously hurt but is stable in hospital.
Adnan’s uncle, Tariq Mirza, 57, a carer, said: “We don’t blame anybody for what happened.
“He was meant to go on that day, that is our belief, that was his time to die,” he added.
The family were almost home after a day trip to London with friends when their VW Touran collided with a VW Golf that had been chased by police only minutes earlier.
The family had been travelling with Tahreem’s friend Nikola Dunova, 22, who was also seriously hurt but is now in a stable condition.
However, her three-year-old daughter Livia Matova is still critical in hospital.
Nikola’s parents, mum Vlasta Dunova, 41, and dad Miroslav Duna, 50, died at the scene in Darnall, Sheffield.
Relatives believe the
Golf was on the wrong side of the road overtaking a bus.

Tariq Mirza Family’s Touran The VW Golf crash happened as the Touran prepared to turn right at 8.50pm on Friday.
A midwife and off-duty paramedic fought to save Usman. Resident Tufail Hussain, 80, said it was “the worst thing I’ve seen”.
Three men aged 17, 18 and 23, have been arrested and were in police custody.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct is investigating. The victims’ family prayed as Tariq paid tribute to his “bubbly” nephew and Usman, who had two brothers, aged six and three.
Uncle Shafqat Mirza added his nephew was a “devoted father”.
