Demarai’s looking up
THE sky is the limit for Jadon Sancho, according to his fellow boy wonder Christian Pulisic.
Sancho is poised to make his first England start in tonight’s Wembley friendly against USA.
That would see him come up against his Borussia Dortmund team-mate Pulisic, the poster boy of American football.
Pulisic (above with Sancho), was first to arrive at Dortmund in 2015. The 20-year-old has now been joined by Sancho, 18, who has taken the Bundesliga by storm.

like him. You can see how much talent and how much skill he has,” said Pulisic (above with USA teammate Walker Zimmerman). “Jadon has done really great for Dortmund this season. Hopefully, he will continue on this path.
“My first impressions of him are he is a young guy with a lot of talent. He is being a bigger part of the team now and is doing a great job with that.

DEMARAI GRAY is the next England youngster in line for a senior call-up.
The Leicester winger has caught Gareth Southgate’s eye this season.
Under-21 boss Aidy Boothroyd admits he could also soon lose Everton winger Ademola Lookman to Southgate’s squad.
Boothroyd is in Ferrara tonight for a friendly, preparing a squad for the U-21 Euros in Italy this summer – but still faces a battle to take his top eligible stars. Gray has been a mainstay in his team but – like club-mate Ben Chilwell – is fighting for a regular job with Southgate.
Boothroyd said: “It is a great problem to have. “Normally there is a group who pick themselves, but in this squad looking ahead that far, all sorts could happen.
“We have players who have gone up and come back down and stayed in some cases, like Ben Chilwell.
“Demarai Gray is a stalwart of the Under-21s playing a lot of games, and one of the first names on the team sheet.
“He is now in contention with the likes of Ademola Lookman and Reiss Nelson, among others.”
