Media war on Corbyn

-

■ Are we returning to the dark days of Thatcherism when the Tories painted miners’ leader Arthur Scargill as a danger to democracy? It worked – the public were duped.

■ As a shop owner it’s very frustrating when people want to pay 75p for the Mirror by debit card, or even worse 20p for a bar of chocolate.

■ To me, the rise in violent crime can be laid firmly at the door of this Tory Government with the colossal cuts to the police and community officers since 2010, instigated by the then Home Secretary Theresa May. This country cannot be policed on the cheap. K R Moreton Draycott, Derbys
