GRAHAM POTTER admitted Swansea may lose Wayne Routledge and Nathan Dyer in January.

The experienced duo helped the Swans back to winning ways at Brentford but, with just seven appearances between them this season, they could move from the Liberty next month.

Boss Potter said: “In January, you never know – that’s the transfer window. The players will want to play and, if they’re not, it’s only fair to be able to understand that.

“At the same time, the guys have never indicated they want to leave. They want to be part of what we’re doing here so, in that way, we’re open-minded.

“We’ve got a lot of games coming up and it just felt like the right time to use those guys.

“They’re two fantastic individuals to have around. They know the club, the ideas, and they can help young players.”

Swansea had suffered three straight losses but enjoyed a stunning opening half-hour.

Routledge (above) started the goal bonanza after just 25 seconds, followed by a Chris Mepham own goal and another for Leroy Fer. The hosts made it an uncomfortable finish, though, with efforts from Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma.

Despite the late push, it was another defeat for Brentford, who have found life tough under head coach Thomas Frank.

He said: “We need to understand we are in a very difficult situation.

“We have plenty of quality but need to learn quickly not to make so many mistakes.” BRENTFORD:

Vrancic Ameobi Stiepermann Beevers Pukki

MARCO STIEPERMANN admits even Norwich’s players are stunned by their “Hollywood” season.

The German midfielder, who has played for Borussia Dortmund, says he has not experienced anything like it in football.

Stiepermann scored his first league goal on English soil, helping the Canaries overcome battling Bolton and stay top of the table.

Norwich boss Daniel Farke (right) said his club’s exploits are like a movie blockbuster.

When told the manager had said that, Stiepermann replied, “Did he?” – and laughed.

The 27-year-old added: “This is just really special. I’ve never felt this feeling before.

“We are on 43 points – more than two points a game – and, to be honest, I didn’t expect that.

“There is no pressure on us because no one expected us, before the season started, to be top – and that the manager would be boss of the month
