Dad of murdered twins says thanks for support

THE dad of 23-month twins allegedly killed by their mother has thanked strangers for support.

Samantha Ford, 37, is accused of murdering Jake and Chloe on December 27. The children were found in her home by police after their mum crashed her car 15 miles away.

She was due to appear at Maidstone crown court via video-link from Bronzefiel­d Prison, Surrey, but proceeding­s continued without her as mental health concerns were raised. Ford was remanded in custody to appear on January 31.

Before the hearing the twins’ dad Stephen posted a photo of his children on Twitter, saying : “I want the world to see my beautiful babies. Jake and Chloe forever.”

A shopper, whose wife is disabled, snapped the luxury motor at Manchester’s Trafford Centre.

He said: “I was with my wife doing my shopping when I saw the Rolls-Royce parked there.

“When I looked, the car didn’t have a disabled badge, but it did have a Monaco registrati­on plate.”
