Fiance’s plea over murder case mum

Brit claims £115m Euro jackpot

THE fiance of missing mother-of-five Sarah Wellgreen has made a heartbreak­ing plea for her return.

In a New Year appeal, Neil James said he wants Sarah “given back” to him and her devastated children. Sarah, who would have been 47 on December 14, went missing from home in New Ash Green, Kent, on October 9. Her ex Ben Lacomba, 38, has appeared in court charged with her murder. Mr James has promoted an online fundraiser for the children that has reached nearly £2,500.

The 45-year-old, of Farnham, Surrey, said online: “Happy New Year everyone and let’s hope that it brings everything we want in personal goals

One wellwisher who donated said: “No amount of money can ever replace the love of a mother. I hope in some way it will help you all as a family take some of the strain and stress away of day to day living.”

Sarah’s family have repeatedly appealed for informatio­n amid their “never-ending nightmare”.

Police have searched large areas in Kent, including on the bank of the River Thames in Greenhithe and land near Bluewater Shopping Centre.

PROBE Police at Kent home A UK lottery winner has come forward to claim the £115million jackpot in the first EuroMillio­ns draw of the year.

The ticket-holder won the entire prize and became the fourth biggest winner.

Operator Camelot said the money will be paid when the ticket is validated and the winner will decide whether to reveal their identity. Ten players each scooped £1million in the New Year’s Day draw. Andy Carter, at The National Lottery, said: “What an amazing win.”

The numbers were 01, 08, 11, 25, 28 and the Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 06.

A record-breaking £161million went to Colin and Chris Weir, of Ayrshire, in 2011.
