OAP web troll jailed for cult mums claims

- BY GUS CARTER BY PAUL BYRNE

CLAIMS Sabine McNeill, 74 AN OAP has been jailed for nine years for trolling parents online, alleging they were satanic child abusers.

Sabine McNeill, 74, claimed the four innocent mothers were in a cult that also cooked and ate babies.

Southwark crown court heard they had been forced to move, change routes to school and practise panic drills due to harassment.

One mum was approached online by a paedophile looking to sleep with her child after the baseless claims began in 2014.

Judge Sally Cahill QC told McNeill: “The allegations could not be more serious or vile. You are an arrogant, malicious, evil and manipulative woman.”

McNeill, of Camden, North London, was found guilty of harassment and restraining order breaches. ONE of three brothers tricked into believing a multi-millionaire was their father has broken his silence.

Joel Mason, 19, revealed he had a difficult relationship with moneysupermarket.com co-founder Richard Mason.

He added: “I haven’t been speaking to him for a number of years because of his behaviour. He’s very manipulative, not the kind of person you want to be with.”

The Nottingham University student said he would not ask his mother who his real father was, nor would he try to trace him.

Mr Mason, 55, discovered two years ago he had been infertile since birth.

It meant he could not have fathered Joel, and twins Ed and Willem, now 23.

A judge has now ordered Mr Mason’s ex-wife Kate, 54, to repay £250,000 of her £4million divorce settlement.

But she was allowed to keep the secret of the children’s births.

Joel said: “I’ve not fallen out with mum over this. She had just had an unhappy marriage and wanted kids. I never knew until a couple of years ago that Richard wasn’t my real dad.

“He’s still my dad and I’m not going to look for my real one.”

Mr Mason, from Rhos-on-Sea, North Wales, discovered two years ago that he had inherited cystic fibrosis, which prevents men fathering children.

Joel added: “When Richard was diagnosed he asked us to do blood tests. It didn’t hurt me because he hadn’t been my dad for a few years. We were grown-up and he and mum were divorced.”

He said he had not asked Kate, from Uttoxeter, Staffs, to name the man with whom she had the affair.

He added: “I’m sure she’d tell me but I don’t want to know. Mum’s single now.” Mr Mason, now wed to Emma, 46, yesterday reached out to his boys on ITV’s Good Morning Britain. He told them: “I’ve got the kettle waiting to go on, a six pack of beer, just come round, you’ll get the biggest hug ever.” JOEL MASON ON DAD HE NEVER KNEW
