My girl died a day after her cancer was spotted
Mum asks why disease was missed

She took Tanisha to Bristol Royal Hospital for Children later that day and at 11pm was told her daughter had cancer. Tanisha died the next day.
Mum-of-nine Kelly, from Wiltshire, said: “How can this have happened? How can my beautiful girl go from having a chest infection to dying from cancer in about 48 hours?
“When they finally realised what was wrong they found cancer in her lung and heart.
“She was so riddled with cancer her heart haemorrhaged.
“I feel so shocked this was not found sooner. To think you can look like a normal schoolgirl, go to PE... think you have a chest infection and actually be on your deathbed is horrifying.
“Tanisha did not even cry. She was so brave.”
Kelly said her daughter, who appeared with relatives on their YouTube channel the Baverstock Family, was “skin and bones and struggling to breathe and walk” at the end. The postmortem is scheduled for today.
The children’s hospital declined to comment. The district hospital said it cannot comment on individual cases but offered its condolences.
