Stop predators

THE book must be thrown at paedophiles exploiting live streaming on the internet to prey on children as young as eight.

The police must do all that is necessary to track down these sick predators.

Technology companies must also take responsibility for blocking intruders from video conversations. Security settings must be improved and parents must remain vigilant.

The disturbing report from Barnardo’s serves as a warning. If it is ignored, the problem will worsen with terrible, intolerable results.

Our children should be as safe online as in a park or playground.
