GRANT ME THAT GOAL
KARLAN GRANT believes he was robbed of a goal on his Huddersfield home debut.
The young striker felt he had scored Town’s consolation only for the Premier League to give it as a Sead Kolasinac own goal.
Grant (below), signed for £2.5million from Charlton last month, said: “That’s a bit poor, isn’t it? It was definitely my goal, 100 per cent I am claiming it.
“I don’t know who the defender was, but he kicked it on to me and it went in off my knee.
“Being in there gives me hope I can keep doing well and I want to take the chances.” As delighted as Huddersfield fans were to see their side score for the first time since January 2, their highlight was the return of owner and chairman Dean Hoyle.
The millionaire has been absent for months while he battled pancreatitis and Saturday night was his first at home after finally being released from hospital.
