BALE GETS JOB TON

GARETH BALE stepped off the bench to score his 100th Real Madrid goal to wrap up the 3-1 derby win at Atletico Madrid.

Bale’s landmark strike came on his 217th appearance for the Spanish club who moved ahead of Atletico and up to second place in La Liga behind leaders Barcelona.

Casemiro and Sergio Ramos were also on target for Santiago Solari’s side with Antoine Griezmann replying for Atletico.

Solari said of Bale: “Every day he seems to be better.”

Jadon Sancho 18, was on target for Borussia Dortmund to become the youngest player to score eight Bundesliga goals.

But leaders Dortmund threw away a three-goal lead to draw with Hoffenheim ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Spurs.

Bayern Munich reduced the gap at the top of the table to five points with a 3-1 win against Schalke.
