Freddie’s pick-up truck crashed into stall FREDDIE Flintoff looks bashful after he crashed his car into a market stall during high-speed racing for Top Gear.
The former cricketer, 41, smashed his Subaru MV pick-up truck while on a time-trial challenge with co-hosts Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris.
The spoof of the famous Le Mans 24 hour race involved doing circuits of Mansfield, Notts, for 24 minutes and will be called Le Mansfield when aired. An onlooker said: “Freddie has a lot to learn when it comes to being as good as the Stig behind the wheel. He and Paddy have only just started filming, but it looks like they are going to get into a few scrapes”
Freddie and Paddy were announced as the new Top Gear hosts for Series 27 last year.
