SPURS OUT TO CAUSE A STURR
TOTTENHAM are interested in Daniel Sturridge with his contract running down.
A free agent in the summer, the £120,000-aweek striker is attracting the attention of several clubs.
Spurs are particularly keen as they look for back-up to Harry Kane.
His current replacement Fernando Llorente is 34 next month, and is set to leave at the end of the season. Sturridge has had limited game time this term because of his injury problems and the form of Liverpool’s dynamic front three, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
Sturridge (above) has interest from America and teams across Europe.
But the former Chelsea man, who had six months on loan at West Brom last year, could be tempted to stay in the Premier League with Tottenham.
