IT LOOKS a bit flaky but here’s one way to get your sausage roll piping hot.

Dan Hobden tweeted the image and said it was his dad’s favourite method.

The microwave was no use, “apparently it’s ‘not the same’ and there’s an ‘art to it’ so here we are”. At the radi-eater... GOOD ENOUGH TO TW-EAT Dan’s post on the roll BRITISH jets and drones targeted 4,315 jihadists over four years but killed only one civilian in the operations, according to Ministry of Defence figures.

The “best available post- strike analysis” showed 4,013 mostly Islamic State fighters died and 302 were injured, in Iraq and Syria.

But campaigners, who obtained the data through a Freedom of Information request, were sceptical about the MoD’s figures which cover September 2014 to January this year.

Iain Overton, director of Action on Armed Violence, said: “The RAF’s claim of a ratio of one civilian casualty against 4,315 enemies must be a world record. Few conflict experts believe this to be true.” He said that the British military was unable to assess battlefield damage on the ground accurately.

The strikes were made by RAF Tornado and Typhoon crews and Reaper unmanned drones.

The civilian was on a motorbike near a missile blast in which three jihadis died. It was fired from a Reaper drone controlled in the UK.

Islamic State once controlled large areas of Iraq and Syria but it is expected to be wiped out militarily in the next few days. However, its followers are still a danger globally.

A MoD spokeswoman said: “After every British airstrike we conduct detailed battle damage assessment.” Tell us what you think: mirror.co.uk
