Keith: Family life is finger lickin’ good

They are Hollywood’s golden couple, so it’s nice to hear that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban love keeping it real.

I can reveal that the pair – who have daughters Sunday, 10, and Faith, eight, together – recently bought a London property and regularly go out on the tourist trail.

Speaking to me backstage at his sold-out gig at the O2 Forum in London’s Kentish Town, country singer Keith tells me: “We have a house here and we love it.

“The whole family were here, Nicole and the girls, and we just spent the day going round the Tower of London. It was impressive. Those are the kinds of things we love doing.”

Nicole and Keith, both 51 and married for 13 years, are one of most grounded couples in showbiz, who like nothing more than dining at KFC.

Grammy award-winner Keith admits he has to “prioritise” his family as he kickstarts his Graffiti U UK Tour.

“Prioritising is the main thing,” he coos. “It’s not hard to balance things – you just have to find that balance.”

When they are together, he says he collaborates “every day” with his wife. And when they are apart, he writes her gushy love letters.

He also calls Nicole a “maniac in the bed” on his song Gemini, and says: “She loves it.”

What a pair of saucepots... Tonight Keith will be joined on stage for C2C’s country marathon at London’s O2 by Ed Sheeran, 28.

“He’s bringing his wife as well – it’s going to be date night,” chuckles Keith.

Last week it emerged that Ed and Cherry Seaborn, 26, had secretly tied the knot. While Keith enjoys commercial music, he is desperate to collaborate with leftie British political band Sleaford Mods.

“I think Andrew Fearn is awesome,” he says. “I would love to work with him.”
