BLAST Author Patti Davis RONALD Reagan’s daughter has said he would be “horrified” and “heartbroke­n” to see the state of America under Donald Trump.

Patti Davis also warned the President is endangerin­g democracy – and blasted her late father’s Republican Party for failing to stand up to him.

The author and former actress, 66, said: “I think he would be horrified. I think he would be heartbroke­n because he loved this country and believed in it.”

On Trump, she said: “If you stir up fear in people, you weaken them. If you divide people, you weaken them. Everything [Trump] says is divisive.”

Reagan was president from 1981 to 1989 and died in 2004, aged 93.

Wire-haired dachshund Ralph disappeare­d while owner Sarah Mclellan, 33, was out walking him near their home last Thursday.

She feared the beloved five-yearold might have drowned but he was finally sniffed out in a maze of rabbit runs by sister Edie.

Sarah said: “She started whimpering and scratching, and pointing to the hole.”

The mum, of Haworth, West Yorkshire, “I posted on Facebook groups and then on Saturday night a lady took it upon herself to start up a website for him.

“It’s all volunteers and they were going out looking for him all day on Sunday – it was lovely.”

Edie finally found Ralph trapped 5ft undergroun­d while out for a walk on Monday. It took rescuers two hours to free the pooch but he had no serious injuries.

Sarah said: “The rabbit holes are like mazes and he must have gone through one hole and got stuck.

“It was such a drama and I was still in shock when I saw him. I was up till 1am just cuddling him.”
