COURT Jester Jamie Vardy is leading from the front at Leicester’s House of Fun.

New boss Brendan Rodgers says for Leicester City read Laughter City as joker Vardy and his pals try to get smiles better.

Rodgers hopes to make it three wins in a row and says if it was down to enjoying things, his men would be title challengers.

And former England striker Vardy is the joker in the pack according to his new gaffer.

It’s a right carry on and Rodgers says it’s just the tonic after a traumatic season emotionally for everyone at the club after the death of owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in the helicopter tragedy five months ago. Rodgers and the players have just returned from a final funeral service in Thailand for Khun Vichai who died along with four others when his helicopter crashed and burst into flames at the stadium following a match against West Ham in October.

They prepare for today’s visit of Bournemouth with Rodgers praising the spirit he has inherited.

Rodgers said: “There are some outstanding characters here and it all starts from the front! They are a tremendous bunch, really good guys.

“A lot of them know what the other side is like. Jamie’s journey from nonLeague to Premier League winner and a potential film! “Then you’ve got Marc Albrighton released by Aston Villa and goes on to win the league title.” Rodgers revealed work is going on to see if a deal can be sorted for talented Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans. He is on loan from Monaco in a deal which saw Adrien Silva go the other way.
