LOVE letters written by Valentine’s Day school shooter Nikolas Cruz reveal he has proposed to a young British fan – and told her he wants to name their sons after guns.

The 20-year-old faces the death penalty for slaughtering 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High in Parkland, Florida, last year.

He has sent the woman, known as Miley, and her brother dozens of notes from his cell.

She set up Facebook group The First Victim to support him in the aftermath of his rampage.

Within the 46 pages, littered with spelling errors and child-like drawings, he offers marriage and talks of having children. Cruz says he wants Miley at his trial and suggests that when she moves to Florida, she gets a concealed weapons licence “cause it’s dangerous hear [sic]”.

He adds: “I also was wondering if you’d be interested in marriage when the time’s (sic) comes. It won’t be for a long time, but would you be interested? I feel like we make a great family together. With lots of Heart & figures in note kids. I imagine it every day. That’s what’s keeping me strong.”

He says he would name his sons Kalashnikov, Makarov and Remington – all gun references – and “my wife can name the girls”.

And in a rare reference to his atrocity, he says: “I don’t know what’s wrong with me, maybe I should get the death penalty. IDK [I don’t know], I just want love.”

None of Miley’s responses were included with the letters, dated October and November last year.

They were held in evidence by Broward State Attorney’s Office and released this week.

Cruz faces a minimum life term without parole. The state attorney is pushing for the death penalty.
