The Subaru driver was trapped in her car with spinal and pelvic injuries.

Mr Dycer, of Templecombe, Somerset, died at the scene on the A352 near Sherborne, Dorset, on August 11 last year.

A spokesman added: “All staff are accounted for and there are two casualties with minor injuries.”

The blast caused a number of small fires and damaged some site buildings.

Tata said: “There are no serious injuries and all fires are now under control.”

The injured men were later discharged from hospital.

Local MP Stephen Kinnock said the blast raised concerns about safety at the works.

Business Secretary Greg Clark added: “I want to see the outcome of Tata’s investigation to see if lessons can be learned. Welsh Secretary Alun Cairns said: “It is important Tata addresses safety concerns that could arise.” Fire crew approaches plant
