Teen confesses to using lost passport for partying in clubs, pubs & brothels

- BY STEPHEN WHITE

AN electrician who lost his passport two years ago was amazed to get a confession from a teenager who had been using it to get into clubs and pubs for boozy nights out.

Joe Hunter, 21, has shared the bashful message from Sam Cole, who admitted the missing ID had also been used by his friends and left in a “battered” state.

But good-natured Joe, who lost the passport in a bar, took it well, even calling Sam a “good lad”.

He said: “I was in hysterics when I realised he was serious. I thought ‘what a guy’. I definitely found it funny because it’s something I’d do.

“I scrolled down on his Instagram and every single post he had a drink in his hand or he was on a night out. I’m glad it’s served him well. He said it’s been passed around so much. It’s been used in brothels and all sorts of places, so fair play to them.”

Sam, of Halifax, West Yorks, said he no longer needed the fake ID, as he’s now 18.

He said: “It’s been used by about six people. I wanted to say thank you because, without him even knowing, he’d been allowing me to go out to all these different places. It’s just lucky that he took it the right way – he’s a good lad. We’re going to try to meet for a pint.”

Joe, from Baildon, West Yorks, who has a replacement passport, said: “I like the fact he’s got in touch and revealed where it’s been all this time.

“I think it’s hilarious to think that it’s been used by all these different people.”
