6am The PM wakes to the news that 34 Conservative Tory MPs would vote against the Withdrawal Agreement Bill (WAB) – despite making a new offer to win support the day before. 10:20am A former close ally of Theresa May, Vicky Ford MP calls on the PM to go.
11:15am Cabinet ministers brief that they may try to topple her. 11:48am The ‘Pizza Club’ of Leave voting ministers meet to discuss concerns with Mrs May. Noon Theresa May clashes with Jeremy Corbyn at PMQs – Tory benches are basically empty. 12:55 Theresa May begins the statement defending her ‘new’ Brexit offer to Parliament. But other than Leader of the House Andrea Leadsom, and Brexit Secretary Steve Barclay, Cabinet Ministers abandon the chamber. 13:06 Mrs May confirms that the WAB will be published on Friday. She says if the bill is rejected it will leave “deadlock and division”. The vote is set for June 7.

13:55 George Osborne, the Evening Standard editor, former chancellor says a Cabinet coup against May is under way. His paper endorses the Lib Dems in today’s EU elections.
