Bigger new shop is icing on our cakes

You featured my Travelling Cupcake business (thetravellingcupcake.co.uk) last October and I thought you might like to hear how we are doing.
First, I wanted to thank you for your advice and support, which has really helped us.
When I contacted you I had two premises in Andover, Hampshire, but I have recently found a much larger place in a better location on the high street which will see us moving to one location.
The new premises will give us lots of space to expand and we have merged with a kitchen and cake decoration suppliers store so can offer much more to people popping in to the new Lucy’s Kitchen. We are also in the final stages of paying back our Worldpay business loan, and once that’s sorted we’ll see what we do next.
I really want an industrial mixer, especially as the wedding season is just around the corner.
I have lots of new and exciting ideas that I would like to start up, maybe a manufacturing project and teaching others baking.
But for now I’m pouring all of my energy into making the move successful and continuing to offer beautiful bespoke cakes and cupcakes. Bev Power, by email

Being in a more prominent place on the high street will help to bring in more passing trade and raise more awareness locally. Continuing to think of ways to expand and offering baking supplies will help to keep bringing in more clients.
