the on-going soap opera with Sarri is that this time Chelsea need their boss to stay.

But the Italian, who is on holiday in Tuscany, wants to go home permanently.

His agent, Fali Ramadani is in talks with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia, while Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici was also in London yesterday.

“On the coach we have clear ideas but it needs time,” said Paratici.

Chelsea are looking for the same £6million in compensation they paid Napoli for Sarri last summer as part of the Jorginho deal. And they are driving a hard bargain.

“There are problems getting him out of Chelsea,” said Sarri’s former boss at Empoli, Fabrizio Corsi. “Sarri is grumbling and a bit pessimistic but Juventus have told him it will get done.”

By contrast, Hazard is celebrating joining a Real Madrid side undergoing an expensive refit under Zinedine Zidane. ARMCHAIR football fans face paying nearly £900 to watch all 200 televised games of the new Premier League season.

BT Sport and Sky Sports will again have the lions’ share of the domestic broadcast rights – with Amazon Prime involved for the first time.

New boys Amazon will show two rounds of midweek fixtures in December.

The first includes the Merseyside derby when Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool go toe to toe with Marco Silva’s Everton – and Tottenham’s visit to Manchester United.

The second will be the traditional packed Boxing Day programme featuring Wolves at home to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. KYLE WALKER is ready to pledge his future to Manchester City.

City have opened contract talks with Walker (below), and will offer him an extension to his current deal in a sign of boss Pep Guardiola’s faith in the England defender. Walker has three years left on the five-year agreement he signed when he joined from Tottenham for £50million in 2017 and the champions will offer him a substantial increase on his £100,000-aweek salary.

That could signal Danilo’s departure as he wants regular first-team football. City will let him go but only if they can first line up a replacement. They are interested in Juventus’ Joao Cancelo.
