Jersey is the cream for pair
Leicester ace’s entertainment goal
A COUPLE have been hailed Jersey’s number one fans after visiting the island 37 times in 28 years.
Nick Goddard, 62, said he and wife Julie will go back “as long as we physically can” after first honeymooning there in 1991.
They say they love the island’s “beauty, hospitality and amazing seafood”.
The couple, from Herts, have already booked two trips for next year.
Julie, 68, said: “We met a couple who’d been there 21 times – that is nothing.” JESY NELSON ON HER SUICIDAL THOUGHTS LITTLE Mix star Jesy Nelson brims with confidence as she poses in a black and red PVC outfit, days after revealing how cruel mockery about her looks once drove her to the edge.
The singer now has nothing to fear. Her Instagram post had more than 670,000 likes.
Jesy, 28, wrote alongside the images, shared after the group’s show in Madrid, Spain, on Monday: “First day of the #LM5tour Madrid you were a dream!!!” The Woman Like Me singer had told BBC documentary, Odd One Out, how she attempted suicide when online jibes overwhelmed her in 2013.
She said: ”I was sat in bed thinking this is never going to go. I’m going to constantly wake up and feel sad for the rest of my life so what is the point in being here. There is no point in waking up and feeling sad every day.”
But Jesy, whose boyfriend is Love Island star, Chris Hughes, clearly has her life back on track. JAMIE Vardy really will be “having a party” after he got the go-ahead to create an outdoor entertaining space at his luxury mansion.
The Leicester City striker, 32, is building an al fresco dining area, a bar and a cinema at his £2.5million home.
A favourite chant of fans is “Jamie Vardy’s havin’ a party”, a reference the do he hosted for teammates to celebrate the Foxes’ shock 2016 Premier League title win.
And the England star will live up to the accolade with his new kitchen, Band in Madrid BBQ, water feature and terracotta chimney pizza oven – complete with decking and seating.
It will sit alongside a two-storey extension, which will include a garden room, two bedrooms and a cinema.
Councillors have approved plans for the development at the property, near Grantham, Lincs, which Vardy and wife Rebekah, 37, bought in 2016.
A neighbour said: “As long as there isn’t excessive partying into the early hours of the night, I shouldn’t expect there would be any problems here.”
