ODSONNE EDOUARD has pledged his future to Celtic in the face of interest from Napoli.

The Hoops travel to French outfit Rennes for tomorrow night’s Europa League opener.

And six goals in 11 games this season has led to the striker, 21, being linked with a £30million switch to the Italian giants.

But Edouard (right) said: “It doesn’t really matter. The key is I’ve got to prove myself here first. I’ve got a season to play and a long contract.

“I’m really happy with the way I’m playing with my friends for the team and the set-up here.

“I’ve still got a lot to prove with Celtic and we must concentrate on a long season ahead.”

Ex-Paris Saint-Germain hitman Edouard expects a tough night.

He said: “I know Rennes will be a very difficult game because I watch Ligue 1 regularly. We need to make sure we get a result.”

MATT DOHERTY hopes that Wolves are about to see the best of their new £16million striker Patrick Cutrone.

The Italy star, 21, joined in a summer switch from AC Milan and has already become a big favourite with the Molineux supporters.

He grabbed his first goal for Wolves after coming on as a sub in the 5-2 home defeat to Chelsea. And defender Doherty thinks it might just be the start of things to come.

He said: “I guess that’s one positive we can take from the Chelsea game. As a striker, and having just come over here, you want to get your first goal to give you some confidence.

“Confidence is everything in sport and in football, so, hopefully, Patrick is going to kick on from there and get us a lot of goals.”
