TRAGIC Tributes at scene A TEENAGER was killed in a pursuit with the force featured in the TV series Police Interceptors.

The chase ended with the Nissan Primera driven by Kelvin Bainbridge, 19, careering into a wall in Spennymoor, Co Durham, at 2.30pm on Friday.

Dad-of-one Kelvin’s family called for a full investigation – saying he had just learned he was to become a father again.

His grandmother, Ellen Bainbridge, 71, said: “I know Kelvin was a bit of a rebel but he wouldn’t harm anybody.

“He was a lovely kid and he was very loved.”

Durham Police, whose road unit features in the popular Channel Five show, has referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. A MURDER hunt is underway after two teenage boys were stabbed to death in a fight at a house party.

Ben Gillham-Rice and Dominic Ansah, both 17, died, and two other males, aged 17 and 23, were injured when the birthday celebration ended in violence just before midnight on Saturday.

One of the teenagers was pronounced dead at the scene while the other died in the early hours yesterday after being rushed to hospital by paramedics.

The other victims suffered serious but not life threatening injuries in the attack, which detectives called “shocking”.

There were 15 to 20 people at the party, which was to celebrate a woman’s 23rd birthday, at the £300,000 home in a cul-de-sac in Milton Keynes, Bucks.

Photos of the house yesterday showed blood smeared across the front door.

Neighbours said a birthday banner had been put up outside the house on Saturday evening ahead of the party. One neighbour said she heard music and a “commotion” involving screaming before emergency crews arrived on the scene.

A resident said: “Soon after midnight loads of police cars and ambulances arrived in the road and there were blue lights everywhere.

“I just can’t believe that two teenage boys have been murdered in our street.”

Ben and Dominic lived in Milton Keynes and were mutual friends on Facebook and Instagram. Dominic, who had a twin sister, Holly, worked at high street fashion chain Hollister. His friend Ben got his GCSE results in August and had started an apprenticeship.

As police forensics teams searched the house and garden yesterday, Det Chief Supt Ian Hunter reassured local residents that it was an isolated incident.

He dismissed reports that blamed gatecrashers for the attacks and said it was a “fast-moving” investigation.

He said: “I believe the people directly Bloodied door at the property involved in this incident are all likely to have known each other.”

One resident said the street had been plagued by a gang in recent months.

She said: “This gang of kids have been hanging around – it’s all gang-related.” She said of the murder victims: “I think they were friends, but that’s all we know.”

One man posted on Facebook: “Devastated to wake up to a call this morning that two of my sons’ friends were stabbed to death.

“Boys that I have watched grow into young men that have now been taken from us.”

One girl, describing herself as a cousin of one of the victims, wrote: “Heartbroken!! Words don’t describe. Gone far far too soon! Knife crime needs to stop.

“This is crazy! These are somebody’s children. May you gorgeous boys rest in peace. Uncle Mark (my dad) is there waiting for you. Sleep tight.”
