TRAGEDY has struck a family for the second time, after a “haunted” son took his own life 10 months after his younger sister killed herself.

Quinn Beadle was 17 when she hanged herself on a tree near her home in December.

Yesterday devastated mum Tracey revealed that her son Dyllon, 21, had also ended his life, just weeks before the anniversary of his sister’s death.

The heartbroken mother said the “world was too cruel” for her “beautiful son Dyllon”. She added: “He was haunted by her death and couldn’t live without her. I think I always knew Dyllon would do this because I knew he couldn’t bear to be without her.

“This world is a darker place without them. Our hearts are broken.”

Dyllon, who had taken a year out from university following Quinn’s death and was working in a cocktail bar, was found outside his home in Manchester earlier this month.

His housemates, who discovered his body, told his parents he seemed happy and had been dancing round the front room the night before.

Tracey, 39, and husband David, 38, last saw Dyllon two weeks earlier, when he returned to Shildon, Co Durham, for a fundraising event for the charity set up in his sister’s name, Quinn’s Retreat. It aims to help other families in a similar situation. Tracey said her son had been “on top form” then.

She added: “There were no obvious signs. He was as normal as could be expected, given what he was going through.”

It was Dyllon’s idea to decorate the tree where his sister died and turn it into “Quinn’s Garden” – a symbol of hope and a place for

HAUNTED Dyllon Beadle reflection. Police went to David’s work to break the news of his son’s sudden death.

Tracey said: “When I saw David come in, he was so distressed I just knew. He said, ‘It’s Dyllon’ and we held each other.”

The family will hold a funeral for Dyllon once a postmortem has taken place and are looking into renaming the charity Quinn and Dyllon’s Retreat.

The grieving mum said the family would scatter their ashes at the same time.

She added: “They are together again and that is some comfort.” ■ To donate to Quinn’s Retreat go to facebook.com/quinnsretreat.
