THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

WARY Wigan boss Paul Cook expects a real test against high-fliers Swansea.
The Latics have not won in their last two and host a Swans side who have lost just once in seven away trips
“We’ve got our hands full,” said Cook. “They’re very easy on the eye. They’re a very good side with players who can hurt you. You’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly from us in our last three games. You’ll see two teams intent on trying to win, but it’s a tough test.”
Swans skipper Matt Grimes is confident the Welsh club can build on the confidence they got from their 1-0 derby victory over Cardiff last time out.
“There’s no point in putting in a performance like that and then being disappointing the week after,” said Grimes (right). “That performance was the benchmark for the season.
“The players and the gaffer haven’t been together for too long – it’s only 14 games in the league.
“We just need to keep building and progressing and, hopefully, it can take us far.”

MICHAEL MORRISON reckons Reading are changing from a nice team to a nasty one thanks to new boss Mark Bowen.
The ex-Birmingham defender can already see changes in training, with the Royals becoming more physical.
They face a tough battle at home to Millwall today and Morrison (right) said: “It is about getting the mentality of the whole team right and being a bit nastier and that is what Mark has brought in.
“Being more streetwise as a team and being harder to play against and if you do that, there are chances there.
“I think the mentality of the football club is changing under Mark.”
