TRAIN journeys over Christmas and the New Year will be hit by engineering and strikes on some of the busiest lines.

South Western Railways staff are to walkout for 27 days from December 2 to New Year’s Day in a dispute over guards and safety.

London Paddington will close from December 24 to 27, affecting Great Western Railway, Heathrow Express and TfL.

London King’s Cross will have limited services on the morning of December 27, which will also affect services to the North.

Southeastern high speed and Eurostar will not stop at Ashford, Kent, between December 26 and 29. Donald Trump Mum Christina with tot who is thought to be safe THREE Mormon mums and six of their children have been murdered by a suspected drug cartel while driving to an anniversary party.

The LeBaron and Langford family members were part of a breakaway religious community which settled in Mexico near the US border decades ago.

The mothers had 14 children with them when their vehicles were blasted by gunmen and set on fire.

A video on social media showed the charred and smoking remains of a car riddled with bullet holes.

Alex LeBaron, who lost family members in the attack, said three vehicles were targeted, taking the lives of three women, four small children and two infants.

He said: “Women and children were massacred, burnt alive. Mothers were screaming for the fire to stop.”

Donald Trump slammed the attacks, offering to send US troops to “clean out these monsters” but Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said: “I don’t think we need the intervention of a foreign government.”

Gunmen shot one child who was running away before torching a car with family members inside. Other youngsters hid by the roadside while a mother was shot in the chest as she put her hands up to surrender.

One family member said a boy hid his wounded siblings – some who were less than a year old – in bushes before he ran back to the nearby town to get help.

Rhonita Maria LeBaron, 33, her twin six-month-old babies, Titus and Tiana, and her children Krystal, 10, and Howard, 12, were murdered along with Christina Langford Johnson, 29, Dawna Ray Langford, 43, and two of Dawna’s children, Trevor, 11, and Rogan, three.

It was unclear what motivated the ambush but local media reported it could have been a case of mistaken identity.

Sonora Governor Claudia Pavlovich Arellano said: “You have all my collaboration so that this doesn’t remain unpunished and the responsible parties pay.”

The attack came after an ambush last month in which 13 police officers were killed in Michoacan state. More than 33,000 were murdered in Mexico last year, a record which 2019 could break. BURNED Ambushed car
