Andrew finds two stars in the camels’ saddlebags

ANDREW Maxwell delighted his campmates by winning 10 stars in the Ark for Agony Trial.

“I feel sorry for Andrew having to go on his own”, said Kate. But fired-up Andrew insisted: “I will do anything, to just get some stars.”

As he arrived in the Trial clearing he said he felt “an incredible mix of a huge honour and a vast insult”.

Ant and Dec explained that the ark was home to an assortment of jungle beasties. Just like Noah, there were two of everything.

Inside the ark were 12 stars hidden in the locked large enclosures, with keys to unlock them hidden in smaller animal enclosures, which contained the critters.

In a 12 minute race to find the stars Andrew faced creatures including millipedes, spiders,

BOSSES are on red alert for dangerous reptiles after a 6ft-long goanna invaded the celebs’ sleeping area when they were out at a trial.

Medic Bob said: “[It is] a big monitor lizard that looks like a crocodile but is related to komodo dragons. There’s a lot in that area.

“He sniffed around all their bags and food and we just watched him wander through. They know where the bridges are now. They’ve got really big claws, saw-like teeth and bacteria in their mouth. If you get crabs and scorpions, pigeons, rats and eels. One enclosure had toads in it which released the key to some camels where he found two more stars. He also had to release a key guarded by two giant burrowing cockroaches.

And he saved his most dreaded fear until last when he unlocked a key in an enclosure of mealworms - which unlocked the snake enclosure. He gingerly crept into the enclosure and managed to untie one of the possible two stars in the nick of time. As Ant and Dec counted him down, he ran to exit the ark, making it just as the klaxon sounded. After the Trial he confided that the scariest thing in there was a goanna. confiding “It was hissing at me." Jacqueline said “Ten stars is amazing.”

Grinning Andy bitten by a goanna you’ll need a tetanus shot and antibiotics – but you could die. There’s dozens.”

But Bob also told how the extremely hot and dry weather is keeping snakes away, with just a couple caught. He also thinks the celebs haven’t lost much weight. He added: “They have been winning a lot of food which is disappointing. “I like it when they get a bit angsty.” BITE SCARY Goanna
