McFadden set to wed again

EX-WESTLIFE singer Brian McFadden is to marry for a third time.

The 39-year-old has proposed to PE teacher Danielle Parkinson, 39, after three years together.

He broke the news on Twitter yesterday, adding: “I’m very very happy xxxx.”

The couple met in 2016 after being introduced by the singer Cole Paige.

McFadden previously dated Delta Goodman and married Kerry Katona and Vogue Williams.

THOUSANDS of firefighters paid tribute to Dany Cotton as she stepped down as London Fire Brigade Commissioner in the wake of criticism from the Grenfell Tower inquiry.

Officers lined the streets, forming a “guard of honour” outside the brigade HQ in Southwark, South London.

Ms Cotton, 50, the first female commissioner in the capital, was due to retire in April after 32 years.

But she resigned on December 6 following pressure from bereaved families of the West London blaze in which 72 people died in June 2017.

The inquiry found that the LFB’s preparation for a tower block fire such as Grenfell was “gravely inadequate” and its lack of an evacuation plan was a “major omission”.

Yesterday Ms Cotton was met with bagpipes and applause as she hugged supporters.

She said: “The support I’ve received makes me feel proud, the fire service looks after each other.”

But Joe Delaney, from Grenfell Action Group, said: “Cotton’s departure, whilst welcome, is not the time for a parade.”
