Royals’ bodyguard raps Duke
‘BEWILDERED’ Prince Andrew faces quiz
SCOTLAND Yard must probe Prince Andrew’s links to paedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein, a senior former royal protection officer has demanded.
Ex-head of Royal Protection Dai Davies branded news the Duke of York had provided FBI agents with “zero cooperation” a “grave embarrassment”. He told the Mirror: “Presumably his lawyers have advised him against speaking to the FBI.
“The question is why? Scotland Yard should now mount a full police investigation, in close cooperation with the FBI.
“Andrew is at the very least a material witness... refusing to cooperate with an investigation into one of the most serious paedophile cases ever to come to light.”
But last night a source close to the 59-year-old royal sensationally claimed he had not been approached, despite US Attorney Geoffrey Berman publicly announcing he had.

The source said: “Nothing could be further from the truth. He is bewildered.”
The FBI is probing allegations from hundreds of women about 66-year-old Epstein’s sordid antics, among them Victoria Roberts who says she had sex with Andrew three times when she was 17. He strongly denies her claims.
Scotland Yard has rejected repeated calls to investigate, most recently after Epstein’s prison suicide last August while awaiting trial for sextrafficking. It said then it “was not the appropriate authority to conduct inquiries”.
