NUNO TELLS TRAORE: YOU’RE ADAMA FINE PLAYER

Speed king must prove his class

- BY DAVE ARMITAGE

NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO has told Adama Traore not to dream of being world class – go out and do it!

Speed machine Traore is attracting the interest of some of the richest clubs on the planet with his incredible power and pace.

Wolves hope their in-form winger can run riot at Old Trafford today with team-mate Ruben Neves describing Traore as “unstoppable”.

Manchester United fans will get a ringside seat for the fastest, most powerful athlete in the Premier League. Traore (above) combines breathtaking speed with the physique of a middleweight boxer.

He’s been nominated for the Premier League’s

Player of the Month award with Nuno giving him an incentive which should give opponents the shivers.

Molineux boss Nuno said: “Every single player in the Premier League can be world class – that’s the dream. But dreaming doesn’t bring you anything. Keep working and stop dreaming.”

Portugal star Neves believes Traore has everything in his locker to become one of the game’s biggest stars.

Neves said: “No doubt about it, he’s the fastest player I’ve played with. He’s really fast, really strong and he is growing a lot.

“When he first came in last season he needed to think a little bit better about the game. Now he is improving on that and it is amazing. If he can make good decisions and sometimes play with more calmness, for me, he could be one of the best players in the world because he is unstoppable.”

Wolves are currently seventh in the table, but on the same points tally as fifth-placed United.

Champions League football might well be the dream, but you will not hear Nuno saying it and he delivered a mild rebuke to Daniel Podence (left) his new £16million signing from Olympiakos.

The latest import from Portugal said one of the attractions of joining Wolves was that Champions League football was within reach.

Nuno said: “I’ll forgive him because he’s not been here. No player here would say such things because it doesn’t make sense.” Wolves will be the first side to get to grips with United’s new £67m new signing Bruno Fernandes, but Nuno believes the former Sporting Lisbon midfielder won’t not catch him cold.

He added: “He’s a very good player. I watch all the football I can, no matter what country it is in.

“I try to be aware about everything that is happening.

“United are a very tough side. They have a fantastic squad. We’ve been able to perform well against them, but that counts for nothing.

“We have a very tough second half of the season and I won’t be looking any further than them.”
