A CHIEF bridesmaid wrecked her pal’s wedding plans by conning her into thinking she had landed a job which did not exist.

Helen Dove pretended she was recruiting for adoption services after Kimberley Baker, 43, told her it was her dream role.

She persuaded her pal to leave her BT position after a bogus email interview.

But after months of fake correspondence saying she could not yet start work, mum-of-three Kimberley, confronted Dove, 31, and found out it was a scam.

She was forced to cancel her wedding after missing out on £50,000 wages.

Dove of St Helens, Merseyside, admitted fraud at Liverpool crown court.

Jailing her for two years, eight months, judge Robert Warnock said he had “no idea” why she did it.

PRINCE Andrew has been urged to talk to the FBI by four alleged victims of his paedo pal Jeffrey Epstein.

An open letter written by the women implores the Duke of York to act now for the sake of his daughters.

It says: “Please help the US authorities with anything you may have observed in your time spent with Jeffrey Epstein.

“Do it for the victims who have lived a life of suffering... and humiliation.

“You can make things better for us and for future generations with your co-operation. Do it for your daughters and their children.

“You have a chance to be on the right side of history. The world is watching.”

One of the women is a former model, known only as Kiki, who came forward in November to claim Epstein sexually assaulted her in 2004 when she was in her late teens. Kiki, who claims to have been recruited in New York while working at a coffee shop, said: “He took my spirit and he broke it.”

She called the abuse an “incredible trauma that totally altered my life”.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the letter, saying it is a matter for the duke’s solicitors.

The letter comes amid claims Andrew described Epstein’s alleged teenage sex slave Virginia Giuffre to a friend as “a very sick girl”.

US billionaire Epstein, 66, was found dead in his cell in

August as he awaited trial on child sex abuse charges. But prosecutors in America have vowed to continue their investigation into his crimes and those who helped him.

Ms Giuffre claims to have been lent out to the prince for sex three times – firstly in London in 2001 when she was 17 and he was 41.

The prince has vehemently denied her accusations, saying in a BBC interview in November that the alleged sexual

incidents “never happened”. Days after the broadcast Andrew, 59, quit public life “for the foreseeable future” because of his “former association” with Epstein.

The duke also said he is “willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations”.

But FBI federal prosecutor Geoffrey Berman last week said Andrew “has provided zero co-operation”.

This claim reportedly left the duke “angry and bewildered”. Sources close to him reportedly said he had not received any requests for help from the FBI.

Ms Giuffre, now 36, said: “Tick-tock, Andy – time to talk. Do the right thing.”

The prince was pictured with Epstein in New York in 2010 just months after the American was released from prison for procuring a minor for prostitution.

It also emerged the duke flew on Epstein’s private jet and visited the financier’s homes around the world.
