Harry mum says: ‘Do the right thing’ Dunn family stand with Epstein ‘victims’
ALLEGED victims of Jeffrey Epstein have joined forces with Harry Dunn’s family to call for Prince Andrew and Anne Sacoolas to cross the Atlantic to face the law on either side.
Those representing the complainants say both cases share a “common thread”.
Lawyer Lisa Bloom, who represents six alleged victims of Prince Andrew’s billionaire paedophile pal – found dead in his jail cell last year while awaiting trial on child sex trafficking charges – said: “I think the parallels are eerie.
“We’re talking about innocent teenagers in both cases who were victims.
“We stand with the family of Harry
Dunn and they stand with us. Both Mrs Sacoolas and Prince Andrew must cooperate with law enforcement.”
Prince Andrew, who has strenuously denied any wrongdoing, has said he would help investigators probing Epstein’s crimes and enablers – but he was accused by federal prosecutor Geoffrey Berman last week of providing “zero cooperation” to the FBI.
And last month US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo rejected an extradition request for Mrs Sacoolas, 42, who is charged with causing the death of 19-year-old motorcyclist Harry in a crash outside US military base RAF Croughton, Northants, last year. Sacoolas claimed diplomatic immunity through her husband’s US intelligence job following the crash and returned home to the US.
Ms Bloom said: “I call upon my government, the US, to return Mrs Sacoolas to the UK to face justice.”
Radd Seiger, spokesman for Harry’s family, said: “The rejection of the extradition request was the darkest day in the friendship between the US and UK.
“No one, no matter who you are, whether you are Anne Sacoolas or Prince Andrew or frankly Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse, is above the law.” He was speaking in New York alongside Ms Bloom and Epstein accuser “Kiki”. Harry’s mum Charlotte Charles said: “The lady accused of killing my son is effectively on the run. “She’s at her home in the US, and she needs to be back here facing the UK justice system. It doesn’t matter who you are, it really is that simple. “Follow the rule of law and do the right thing.”
