Memory box is forgotten
A SCHOOL has given up trying to find a 25-year-old memory box after forgetting where it’s buried.
A three-week search included a dig and metal detectorists working by a tree where it is thought the time capsule was hidden.
Anna Pemberton, head of Grove Primary School in Trowbridge, Wilts, said: “We had to admit defeat.”
A time capsule for the school’s 50th anniversary has now been buried – in a carefully marked spot.
A THUG who left a boy disabled after smashing his skull in an attack inspired by TV’s The Walking Dead has been jailed.

Callis-Woolsey, who lives in the village, had admitted causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He was jailed for eight years at Derby crown court.
Kyle Cullan, of Wirksworth Derbys, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery and was sentenced to 12 months. Det Con Derek Ellis said after the case: “This was an act of extreme violence which was planned, orchestrated and carried out by a teenager for a trivial matter. “The victim and his immediate family have had to come to terms with the consequences of that night.”
