DIXON RELISHES SAINTS REUNION

FORMER Warrington duo Richie Myler and Brad Dwyer combined to heap more misery on their former club.

Both players touched down in an impressive Leeds display that leaves the Wolves with just four wins from their last 16 matches.

Steve Price’s men have also failed to win an away Super League game since July, and were well beaten despite the presence of star players Blake Austin, Gareth Widdop and Daryl Clark.

Dixon (left) said: “I can’t wait for it. I had some great times there and I’ve still got really great mates there.

“They’re a great side and it’s always good to test yourselves against the best.

“They did that last weekend against the Sydney Roosters and we’ll be doing that against them this week.

“They are a really skilful side and that was something they always tried to do while I was there as well.

“They love entertaini­ng the crowd and I’m sure they’ll be trying to do that on the weekend. It will make for a great game.”

The Wolfpack are winless after four matches, but showed signs of progress in last week’s defeat to Warrington. Brian

McDermott’s injury-hit squad will be bolstered by Wigan loan duo Jack Wells and Ben Kilner.

Dixon added: “It’s been a tough start to the year but a few numbers are coming back and we are building and the results will start coming.

“Jack and Ben have been in training this week and they are two great lads, very young and keen.”
