WITH uncanny timing, as we all head into isolation, Rita Ora releases How To Be Lonely... and shows home workers how they can now dress for the office.

Yes, Rita, 29, went to work in her vest and pants as she filmed a video for her new song.

It was co-written by Scottish crooner Lewis Capaldi, 23, and Rita said it described how she felt “liberated” after a break-up.

She said: “I don’t know why we always put this thing on ourselves of like, ‘Oh no, we can’t be by ourselves and it’s so hard to be alone’.”

Self-isolation will be no problem at all for you, Rita.

OUR mother is still the person one in four of us turns to above all others when we need some wise words on a big life decision.

We quiz them for guidance on purchases, work choices and how to manage our money, a study reveals.

And just one in eight of us chooses to pick our father’s brain, according to the survey by investment company BDO.

Managing director Ross Duncton said: “More people are likely to go to their mother for financial advice than any other family member, friend or financial professional. “This reiterates the key role that they play in all aspects of our lives.”

BDO found women are more likely than men to turn to their mum for advice on all things. Under-22s are twice as likely as 23-to-39s to ask mum.

But one in seven said they also turn the tables by giving their mum advice on things like managing cash and big purchases.
