THE Duchess of Sussex’s family are urging her to contact her estranged dad as they fear for his life amid the Covid-19 crisis due to his health woes.

Meghan, 38, fell out with Thomas, 75, over photos he staged with the press in the run-up to her May 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. A heart attack stopped him attending and they have not spoken since.

The Sussexes have just moved from Vancouver Island in Canada to Los Angeles.

And now they are only 150 miles from Thomas’s home in Rosarito, Mexico, Meghan’s uncle is urging her to heal the rift.

Michael Markle, a retired diplomat, said:

“It is a short drive from his home in Mexico, one he makes often. Hopefully, the short distance will make Meghan think again and the two will reunite. I know Tom wants that more than anything.” Thomas is thought to

FAMILY ROW Meghan be self-isolating at home. The appeal from Parkinson’s sufferer Michael, 81, for Meghan to get in touch before “time could not be turned back” came as she and Harry spoke of how Covid-19 is telling the world “now, more than ever, we need each other”.

Speaking from his home in Palm Bay, Florida, Michael said: “Meghan famously said ‘not many people have asked if I’m OK’. She would do well in this time to ask her dad if he is OK.

“People of my age and Tom’s are dying due to the virus. It’s about time she mended any differences before it is too late. I’ll be 82 in July but with this virus I may not make it. Tom is younger but has multiple underlying health issues which make him very vulnerable. We don’t know how long any of us are going to be around.”
