WORLD CUP FANS COULD SEE DOUBLE
FIFA have announced that four games per day will be played in the 2022 World Cup group stage in Qatar.
Local kick-off times for the games will be 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 10pm, with Qatar three hours ahead of the UK.
With stadiums all within a 40-mile radius, fans who travel to the finals could watch two games every day.
The tournament’s opening match will be played at the 60,000-seat Al Bayt Stadium (above) in Al Khor on November 21, with the final scheduled for the 80,000 capacity Lusail Stadium in Doha on December 18.
