Trump told his children they mustn’t trust him

-

AS the US election race begins to heat up, candidates are doing their best to discredit their rivals, none more so than Donald Trump.

But this week, old footage emerged showing even his beloved son can’t trust his dad.

Recalling how dad would send him to classes at the age of four with his number one rule ringing in his ears, Donald Jr said Donald Sr told him: “Don’t. Trust. Anyone. Ever.”

He went on: “He’d follow it up two seconds later with, ‘So, do you trust me?’ I’d say, ‘Of course, you’re my dad.’ He’d say, ‘What did I just...’ You know, he thought I was a total failure. He goes, ‘My son’s a loser, I guess’.” At least he got that right.

Forget drive-by crimes in Alabama, for Gwendolyn Braswell it’s all about the drive-through.

The 42-year-old stayed behind the wheel of a Pontiac Sunfire as she drove into a Home Depot – like a B&Q – stealing items as she went. The heist was recorded by surveillance cameras inside the store in Trussville, a Birmingham suburb.

She is still on the run but once police have found her, she is facing multiple charges including burglary, criminal mischief and theft.

A bald eagle in Escanaba, Michigan, took exception to Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy staff sticking their beaks in.

As they carried out an aerial survey over Lake Michigan, the bird got into a flap, attacking their drone and sending it crashing to a watery grave.

A farmer in Arkansas is accused of disguising himself as a woman and defacing the grave of his former neighbour and nemesis.

Joseph Stroud, 78, visited the final resting place of Fred McKinney in Benton County where he is alleged to have dumped an animal carcass.

By the time family reported the incidents, they had found 16 dead animals.

When the family set up a secret camera, they captured Stroud, in a woman’s wig, jacket and sunglasses, with a dead animal in his hand.

Stroud has been charged with defacing objects of public respect. He has denied the accusations.

Arizona city official Frank Stevens has resigned from his post after an investigation found he had used council workers on the side.

In attempting to launch an irrigation business, the £81,000-a-year water resource portfolio manager had staff clear some land for him.

Bizarrely the farmers the work was intended for paid him with a goat – and I’m not kidding.

P.S. Did you know vending machines are twice as dangerous as sharks, killing more people each year? No, nor me until my barman Richard enlightened me.
