A SON who lost his father in the Christchurch attack gave his killer the finger as he faced him in court.

Ahad Nabi, whose 71-year-old dad Haj was among 51 killed by gunman Brenton Tarrant, demanded the Australian should “never walk free.”

Tarrant, 29, faces a possible whole life sentence for his deranged rampage outside two mosques in the New Zealand city on March 15, 2019. Ahad called Tarrant “a maggot” and a “coward” adding in a passionate statement: “Your father was a garbage man and you deserve to be buried in a landfill.

“You hurt my father but you never took him away from me.

“You gifted my father with becoming a martyr and he’s returned to Allah.” He added: “Your actions were gutless.” He said he did not forgive and told GUNNED DOWN Mucad the judge: “I ask that this scum never be allowed to walk from prison. “Coming back to this maggot... my dad would have broke you in half if you challenged him to a fight. You are a sheep in a wolf ’s jacket.” Ahad flexed his arms and stuck up his middle fingers, adding: ”You made me even stronger.” Aden Ibrahim Diriye, father of murdered Mucad Ibrahim, three, the youngest victim, told white supremacist Tarrant: “True justice is waiting for you in the next life and will be far more severe.”

Also present for the hearing in Christchurch was Abdul Aziz Wahabzadah, who saved lives by confronting the attacker.

Tarrant, due to be sentenced this week, admitted 51 murders, 40 attempted murders and a terrorist act.
