Skating show stars reveal they are wed and expecting child
DANCING on Ice stars Kevin Kilbane and Brianne Delcourt have let slip that they are married and expecting a baby in four months’ time.
Former Ireland international Kevin, 43, and figure skater Brianne, 39, met when they were paired for Dancing on Ice last year.
They wed in Brianne’s native Canada this month, but due to Covid restrictions, were unable to have any guests from the UK.
Brianne’s daughter, three-year-old Gracie, her immediate family and two friends were at the bash in Haliburton, Ontario.
Revealing the news to
OK!, Brianne said: “Yes – we got married and I’m five months pregnant. We keep saying to each other, ‘Imagine if we knew this last year.’ I wouldn’t have believed it.
“We’ve been so busy and there’s been so much excitement. It’s been crazy, but all good stuff. We planned the whole wedding in two weeks. Today feels like the first day we can unwind a bit.”
Kevin, who played for Everton and was capped 110 times for the Republic of Ireland, said he “couldn’t be happier”.
The couple met in October and have been in a relationship since December. They got engaged in February, two months after being eliminated from the show, and Kevin proposed at a steakhouse in London.
He said: “Everything may seem fast in other people’s eyes. We can’t believe it ourselves but we do everything together so this was the next step.”
Brianne said the wedding was “amazing”. She said: “Of course, we had Gracie with us, but to also have our baby in my stomach took it to a complete other level. The baby kicked as we said, ‘I do’.”
