Good fortune has struck twice in one year for two lucky winners of People’s Postcode Lottery Join by midnight tonight to play in the October draws at or call
BRISTOL neighbours Nicholas Urch and Glenn Collins were stunned when they each scooped a fantastic £30,000 with People’s Postcode Lottery – for the second time in seven months!
The pair live just a few doors away from one another and have been lucky winners not once, but twice in a year, netting a superb £60,000 in total.
Nicholas said he was “absolutely gobsmacked and flabbergasted” when he got a second call from the People’s Postcode Lottery team: “I assumed it was a follow-up call, and even when they told me I’d won another prize, I didn’t expect it to be as much.
“The money has helped me a lot with doing up the house, and I also treated myself and my brother to a holiday in Spain. Now that we’ve won again, I think we’ll go somewhere further afield – we’re thinking Vietnam.”
Glenn said: “You never think you’re going to win such a big prize – never mind twice! My wife Jane and I have been away on an incredible trip to Niagara Falls and New York since we won our first prize, and I think we might go on a Caribbean cruise next. It’s amazing to be able to do it.
“We also got a conservatory put the house.”
Nicholas and Glenn were joined by new players Steven Hirst, Kayleigh Dybowski and Elaine Newton for the second win.
Kayleigh, who lives next door to Nicholas, said: “When I heard how much money he’d won last time I thought, ‘I’ve got to do it.’ I’m living with on my boyfriend and his family at the moment, and this money is going to mean we’ll be able to move out and into our own place, which is very exciting.”
Steven agreed: “My next-door neighbour won in March; unfortunately I missed out on the £30,000 then, which was a bit gutting, but this makes up it massively.”
“I’m absolutely over the moon,” added Elaine. “I just can’t believe it.”
Presenter Danyl Johnson said: “It just goes to show it’s worth signing up even if your postcode has had a big win recently – you never know when we’ll be back with more cheques.”
