PLAYERS RAISE FUNDS FOR CHARITIES AND GOOD CAUSES

-

SINCE we began in 2005, People’s Postcode Lottery’s sole purpose has been to raise funds for charities and good causes, and to raise public awareness of their work. We manage multiple society lotteries on behalf of a range of charities, and last year players raised £138million, bringing our overall total to more than £600million. The number of charities and good causes supported has also now surpassed 8,500.

When you play People’s Postcode Lottery, you are contributing to positive, impactful change. You are supporting our heritage, tackling loneliness, supporting young people into work, protecting our environment, combating global poverty, promoting the arts, caring for animals, supporting cancer patients, tackling homelessness, promoting volunteering – and much, much more!

The more tickets we sell, the more funds are available for good causes.

We are committed to operating in a fair and open way – a minimum of 32 per cent of each ticket sold goes to help these good causes, and we plan to extend this even further, achieving our mission by building a strong, loyal player base who have the opportunity to win amazing prizes every single day.

We all care about our local areas – whether we live in the Highlands of Scotland or the centre of London. That is why funds raised by our players also go to support the local charities, often run by volunteers or very small staff teams, that support our communities every day.
